   Sam seems to radiate energy wherever she goes. Endlessly moving and expressive, she can be a lot of fun or exhausting. Her endless source of upbeat humor can annoy some. She moves a lot like a cat, with a low center of gravity and easy grace. She has no skill as a liar; her face shows every thought in her head. Never one to be passive, she likes to hit problems head on. 

   She is very good at what she does and she knows it. Sam is never above bragging and she's more than happy to ignore her own flaws. Her life of hunting and violence has led to a predatory mindset that tends to make her see others as possible threats before individuals. She is not intentionally cruel, but she often forgets to consider the feelings of others and falls quickly to anger. She doles out pats on the back and arm punches without consideration for personal space. Sam relies on sarcasm to try and make herself seem witty and tough.

    Sammy grew up in the frigid wilds of an enchanted forest surrounded by harsh nature and harsh realities. As the daughter of trappers, Sam has been hunting and skinning animals since she was a child. She is a born and bred predator. 

    Despite the cold, bare bones living of her clan, Sam's people are nothing if not passionate. Laughter and love and fighting were all integral parts of clan life. It wasn't uncommon for arguments to turn into full on brawls until both parties were bruised and sore from the encounter. While outsiders would consider it brutal, Sam loved their way of living. As she came into her magic with a stumbling grace. It took her a long time to finally stop accidentally floating and slamming into the earth. After she gained control, however, it was a great asset in fighting.

    She was not exposed to much interaction outside of of her clan as a child, and that was fine while things were peaceful. But things grew...complicated and Sam had to leave. Quick to violence and growling, Sam had a culture shock when she found her way to Prima. She was quite strictly informed that arguments were to be talked out and biting annoying people was not 'acceptable'. It took months of careful observation and failed attempts before she got anywhere near good at dealing with people. Sam had a very hard time with city life on a day to day basis, so she moved into Treant Forest. Sam now rather enjoys interacting with people although she has nothing close to what one could call a 'friend'. Sam did the only thing she was good at: she went back into the hunting business. The happy mage sells her meats and hides at the market and occasionally offers bone carvings if the weather has been foul enough to keep her inside. She's considering branching out into monster hunting because of the better pay it offers.

Additional Info |
■ Sam lives in a (slightly crooked) small log cabin she built herself in Treant Forest. It has a very leaky roof but she's very proud of it.
■ She is extremely territorial. There are a lot of non-lethal traps around her cabin. 

■ Her cabin is only crooked because she wouldn't ask for help
■ She is very accurate with a hunting bow but also very slow, so it's useless to her in battle.
